The Lake Norman Philharmonic has a great program planned for this community event at the Mooresville Performing Arts Center!    Maestro Eduardo Cedeño will conduct the Orchestra through some exciting classical and contemporary music including varied selections from Verdi to The Beatles!   The event will also highlight several ensembles - string, french horn, and trumpet concertos and a special Mozart piece you won't want to miss.  Settling in the second half of the performance, Maestro Cedeño moves on to more contemporary music - from Big Bands to show tunes.   This free, family-friendly event will be sure to delight all ages!

This concert event Concert event debuts local musicians and celebrates the Town of Mooresville’s 150th Anniversary!  Conducted by Maestro Eduardo Cedeño, the LKN Philharmonic will feature very special ensemble performances at this concert. You’ll enjoy the first movement of the Concerto for Two Trumpets(Vivaldi), the first movement of Concert Piece for Four Horns (Schumann), and a Viola and Cello Concerto (Vivaldi). In addition, the orchestra is excited to feature a guest pianist who will join the orchestra in a rare performance of Mozart’s Piano Concert # 23 in A Major.

Maestro Cedeño and the all-volunteer orchestra are preparing a lively second half of the April 1st concert with more contemporary music selections, including pieces from Big Bands to Broadway show tunes, and from Rock-n-Roll to pop tunes. This free, family-friendly event will be sure to delight all ages!
